As part of your application, we'll verify your income and expenses by securely connecting to your bank.
If your bank isn't compatible, or you're unable to connect your bank during your application, you can upload your recent bank statements instead.
You need to ensure your bank statements:
- Show your full name and residential address (the name on your statement must match the name on your application).
- Include the last 90 days (or more) of income and expenses.
- Show transaction (purchase) activity within the last 30 days.
- Be in PDF format; no larger than 5MB.
- Be the original statements issued by your bank.
Why your bank statements may be rejected
We may not accept your bank statements if:
- The statement only shows income or only shows expenses.
- The statements don't include a full 90 days of income and expenses.
- There are no income or expense transactions shown within the last 30 days.
- You've uploaded a Centrelink Income Statement or an ATO Notice of Assessment instead of bank statements.
- The file isn't a PDF.
- The file is larger than 5MB.
- The statement isn't the original version issued by your bank.
Need an interim statement?
If your latest monthly statement isn't available yet, you can request an interim statement from your bank.
