If you return goods to a retailer and they agree to a refund, your Zip Pay account will be credited with the agreed refund amount.
If a refund places the account in credit you're welcome to leave the additional funds in the account for your next purchase.
If a purchase has been refunded but you are yet to make repayments the funds will simply be credited back to your available Zip spend.
When a refund is applied to your account, the refund amount will not include any fees you have been charged while paying off your purchase (e.g. monthly account fees or late payment fees)
*Please note: Deliberately placing an account in credit is a breach of contract and may result in the account being locked.
