Not all Gift Cards can be redeemed both online and in every store. The retailer you purchase your Gift Card from owns and dictates the Terms and Conditions of their Gift Card.
Before making your Gift Card purchase using your Zip account, we encourage you to check the individual retailer's T&Cs, you can do this when selecting the Gift Card you wish to purchase in your Zip app or here.
Why isn't my Gift Card working instore?
- Some Gift Cards are only redeemable at participating stores. You can find a full list of those stores by checking the retailer's T&Cs as above.
- Some Gift Cards can take up to 2 hours to activate and before they can be redeemed after purchase, as determined by the retailer.
- Please brighten the screen of your smartphone to assist in scanning your barcode. The barcode can be manually entered at checkout if a scanner is not available. You can also print your digital Gift Card and simply present it at the retail checkout.
If your Gift Card still doesn't work please speak to instore staff at the retailer as they should be trained to take payment from Gift Cards.
