You can add a bank account (BSB & Account Number) to your Zip Money and Zip Plus account, however we do not accept bank details as a payment method for Zip Pay accounts at this time.
Please Note: Repayments made from bank accounts will take 3 - 5 business days to clear. If you choose to use a bank account please ensure you leave enough time for repayments to fully clear before your repayment due date to avoid falling into arrears.
How to add banking details to your Zip Money/Zip Plus account:
- Open your Zip app
- On the home page, tap on the profile icon
- Tap 'Manage Zip account'
- Tap 'Payment methods'
- Tap 'Add payment method'
- Tap 'Link a bank account'
- Enter your bank account details; ensure there are no spaces in your BSB and Account Number
- Click SAVE.
To set this as your primary payment method, tap on the 'Set as default' toggle so that it appears purple.
Please Note: If you set your bank account as the primary payment method, you will not be able to use the "Pay Now" feature. You will need to add a valid card to use this feature.
