Pending Balance: Every purchase on your Tap to Pay card will show as 'pending' on your Zip Pay or Zip Plus account until it clears or processes. While pending, the purchase amount will be deducted from your available balance. It can take up to 5 business days for the pending balance to clear and show as completed on your Zip account.
Varying Purchase Value: Your transaction amount may vary slightly from when you made your purchase until the time your transaction clears. Refunds, partially cancelled orders, or hotel security bonds and currency conversions, may affect your final purchase amount.
Please note: If you made a purchase overseas and the currency conversion rate changed while your transaction was clearing, your total purchase amount may increase or decrease based on the rate at the time of clearing.
Zip Plus customers can enjoy the benefit of no international transaction fees, however purchases made overseas with your Zip Pay account, will incur a separate international fee of 1%.
