If you suspect that there has been unauthorised activity on your Zip Visa Card, or you wish to control your spending, you can simply 'lock' your card via the Zip App. To do so, follow the below instructions:
- Open the Zip App on your phone
- Tap the ‘Pay’ tab, located at the bottom of your screen
- Move the ‘Lock card’ toggle to the ‘on’ position
When the card is 'locked,' all attempted payments to this card will be declined. This includes both instore and online purchases, and any recurring payments where the card details have been saved.
Please note that some retailers may charge you a ‘dishonoured transaction’ fee for failed attempts to charge your card while it is locked; Zip is not responsible for these charges.
To unlock your card, navigate to the 'Pay' tab and move the ‘Lock card’ toggle to the ‘off’ position.
