How can I pay invoices and bills with Zip Business Trade Plus?
Eligible customers can use their Zip Business Trade Plus account to pay their invoices and bills via the Web Wallet here or via the Zip Business app. We pay the invoice or bill, you pay us back over time; it's easy!
Is there a fee?
There is a 1.95% processing fee which is added to the amount of the invoice.
How do I pay my invoices and bills via the web wallet?
To pay an invoice or bill using Zip Business Trade Plus, simply log into your account and select
‘Pay invoices with Zip’ or ‘Pay bills with Zip’ from the left side menu.
For Invoices, simply upload the invoice and fill out the required fields. Once all the required fields are input, submit the invoice and you will then be able to see the invoice order in your 'Recent activity' as authorised along with all your other transaction history. For Bills, simply fill in the Bpay details (and those details will be stored for next time).
How long does it take for the payment to go through?
Once an invoice has been submitted, the invoice is assessed and if everything checks out, the invoice will be processed. The invoice will be processed within 1 business day of it being uploaded.
Your Zip Business Trade Plus account will be debited instantly but you should allow up to 3 business days for the merchant to receive your invoice payment.
Can I schedule invoice payments or set up repeat payment schedules?
No, you may only pay invoices one at a time and must upload a new invoice each time.
Why can't I pay my invoice with Zip Business?
In certain cases, we may cancel an invoice. We will reach out to you as to why your specific invoice was cancelled. However, the common reasons as to why an invoice may be cancelled are detailed below:
- The merchant is already accredited with Zip
If this is the case, please contact the merchant and they will be able to process a manual order for you.
- The invoice is fraudulent.
- The invoice is paid to your own business
- The invoice is used to pay other creditors
How do refunds work?
As we are only the intermediary between you and the merchant, you will need to get in contact with them with any refund queries.
